- settings or apps
- Some repairs require system resets or software reinstallation.
8. Repair Process, Parts & Additional Faults
- We use reasonable skill and care as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- We may use new, refurbished, or compatible third-party parts.
- If additional faults are found, we will quote before proceeding.
9. Pre-Existing / Unrelated Faults (Important)
- Many Devices arrive dead, not powering, not displaying, or with multiple unknown faults. In these situations, it is not always possible to diagnose every problem until power/functionality is restored.
- If we repair the primary fault (for example: power issue, motherboard issue, charging fault, HDMI fault) and after the repair the Device boots but another issue becomes apparent (for example:
- non-working camera
- non-working speakers
- faulty USB ports
- secondary motherboard issues
- previous liquid damage symptoms
- previous customer/third-party repair damage
- Wi-Fi/Bluetooth faults
- buttons not working
- disc drive faults
- etc.), we are not automatically responsible for those additional faults.
- If the additional fault was pre-existing, not visible, or not testable before the primary repair was completed, then:
- it is not covered by the repair quote,
- it is not our liability,
- and it will be treated as a separate issue, with its own quote if you want it repaired.
- Examples where this applies include (but are not limited to):
- A console arrives completely dead, we repair the power issue, and afterwards the fan, USB ports, or disc drive do not work.
- A handheld console or phone arrives with no power, we restore functionality, and afterwards the cameras or touchscreen are found to be faulty.
- A device with prior liquid damage has unpredictable, intermittent or progressive faults that only appear after powering on.
- We do not accept liability for multiple unknown pre-existing faults that only become detectable after a successful repair of the primary issue.
- If new faults appear after the primary repair and you want them repaired:
- we will provide a separate quote, and
- you may choose to proceed or decline.
10. Repair Warranty
- Standard repair warranty is 90 days, covering only the part/fault we repaired.
- Does NOT cover:
- new or unrelated faults
- damage after repair
- liquid damage
- overheating caused by dust, user neglect, or modifications
- third-party tampering after our work
- gradual wear (fans, thermal paste, stick drift, batteries)
- If a repaired fault reappears, we will attempt a re-repair at no labour cost.

- Refurbished items include a 6-month warranty unless stated otherwise.
- Items sold as “spares or repairs” are sold as-is, with no warranty.

13. Liability

- pre-existing faults
- indirect or consequential loss
- data loss
